Content Educator SIG
The Content Educator Special Interest Group (CESIG) is a SIG within the ICLHE association co-led by Magdalena Walenta (University of Warsaw, Poland) — EMERGE leader — and Amani Eltayb (Karolinska Institutet, Sweden)
CESIG brings together university educators who teach their disciplines through an additional language and recognise the need to integrate language-aware practices into disciplinary instruction. The group fosters collaboration between content experts and applied linguists, creating a shared space for exchanging experiences, research, and practical insights to strengthen ICLHE practice and scholarship.
