Online Guest Lecture

On 25 June 2025, Dr. Magdalena Walenta delivered an invited talk in the Leicester Applied Linguistics Guest Lecture series, Beyond Content: Rethinking the Role of Language in EMI. Drawing on longitudinal research in Poland, she explored how language shapes EMI experiences and shared strategies to support both educators and students. Many colleagues and students attended, and the event concluded with an insightful discussion on the role of language in disciplinary learning.
